Join the Glasgow Tigers and get involved in a well-organised team playing American Football against teams around the country.
No matter your skill level or experience, American Football is for you. The sport is versatile and welcomes people of all backgrounds and whether you have years of experience at senior or University level or have never picked up a ball, you could find a spot on the team.
By becoming a Tiger, you could become part of a welcoming, competitive team that aims to stand apart from others in Scotland.
How can I train with the Tigers?
Training takes place at Riverside Primary School in Govan on Wednesday evenings from 7pm until 9pm, and at Cambuslang Rugby Club on Sunday mornings (with the exception of match days).
Get in touch on our Facebook page if you’re interested in coming along to training.
I'm under 18. Can I still join?
What do I need to bring to training?
For your first training session, just bring outdoor sports clothing and footwear appropriate for the surface (2G, sand-based astro at Riverside Primary and natural grass at Cambuslang Rugby Club). We also require you to bring your own mouth guard, as we cannot provide these for sanitary reasons.
What if I've never played before?
New players can feel free to get in touch and arrange to come along to a session, but we hold formal rookie days at the end of each season where new players will be put through their paces at a number of positions to find out where they might fit into the team.
Follow our Facebook page to get information on rookie days, normally held between November and January.
