Join the Glasgow Tigers and get involved in a well-organised team playing American Football against teams around the country.

No matter your skill level or experience, American Football is for you. The sport is versatile and welcomes people of all backgrounds and whether you have years of experience at senior or University level or have never picked up a ball, you could find a spot on the team.

By becoming a Tiger, you could become part of a welcoming, competitive team that aims to stand apart from others in Scotland.

How can I train with the Tigers?

The Tigers will be back in training in January 2020 ahead of the new BAFA National League season.

Get in touch on our Facebook page if you’re interested in coming along to training.

I'm under 18. Can I still join?

The Glasgow Tigers senior team is open to those aged 18 and over. If you’re younger than that and still keen to get involved in the sport, then the Glasgow Tigers Academy is the place to go. Head to our Academy section for more information, as well as details on how to join the Academy.

What do I need to bring to training?

For your first training session, just bring outdoor sports clothing and footwear appropriate for the surface. We also require you to bring your own mouth guard, as we cannot provide these for sanitary reasons.

What if I've never played before?

New players can feel free to get in touch and arrange to come along to a session, but we hold formal rookie days at the end of each season where new players will be put through their paces at a number of positions to find out where they might fit into the team.

Follow our Facebook page to get information on rookie days, normally held between November and January.

What if I want to help off the field?

Get in touch on Facebook and find out about how you can get involved with the Tigers as part of our match day crews.
